I was very sadden to hear of Mike's passing, he was truly near and dear to my heart, he was my inspiration in the mornings when I got to work and I couldn't wait to hear him say..'What's up Queen Latifah'...our inside joke. Mike will truly be missed, not only by myself but by his Clerk of Superior Court family as well. See you when I get there Mike 'P Diddy' Powers...

- Robin Mitchell, Clerk of Superior Courts Office.., savannah, GA

My heart goes out to the entire Power's family and close friends. Mike was always the first to greet me when the Record Room opened. His smile and humor brighten my day. He was always quick with a 'come back' no matter what was said. He was a man truly rich in friends which can not be said by many people. He was a magnet, drawing people to himself. The record room will have a strange silence with out his presence.

- Julie Walet, Savannah, GA

Terry, Leslie, Danny, Vincent and all of the Powers family. I can't tell you how much Grace and I will miss Handiboe. I've been 10 minutes just sitting here, trying to put all I want to say into a few words to no avail. Mike was my friend and life will be a little less without him but I know he will always be close by in a remembered moment or a quoted Mikeism. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. GO DAWGS.

- Butch & MaryGrace Elmgren, Smyrna, GA

My husband and I first met Mike two years ago when Bob took over the snackbar at the Courthouse. Every afternoon the 'Tea Time Boys' would gather downstairs for a 'cool one' and boisterous conversation. The conversation was almost always football and the only team was Georgia; until Mike learned that Gators had invaded the snackbar - us. We had a lot of fun talking trash back and forth. We will miss Mike's smiles, laughs, and even the good natured jabs. He was a good sport. There will never be another GA/FL game again that we won't remember one of our favorite Dawg friends. So Mike, here's one for you from your Gator pals 'GO DAWGS'. Bob and Carol Walls & Omega
